Meet Tim
Tim McCormack
Founder
Tim McCormack is a technology leader, author, speaker, and storyteller focused on one central idea: technology should serve people.
For more than two decades, Tim has worked at the intersection of end-user computing, digital employee experience (DEX), and enterprise technology strategy. He currently leads Digital Employee Experience initiatives within a large enterprise environment, where his team focuses on improving how employees interact with technology across devices, applications, and services. His work centers on helping organizations move from reactive IT support to proactive, experience-driven operations.
Tim is the author of multiple books, most recently Everyone Noticed, where he explores how organizations can transform the workplace by focusing on the experience people have with technology every day. His writing reflects a broader belief that data and tools alone do not drive change. Stories do. Through speaking, writing, and community engagement, Tim advocates for a more human approach to technology leadership.
He is also the creator of Backroads and Bandwidth, a DEX-inspired music album that blends storytelling, technology, and creativity in a way that reflects his unique perspective on the modern workplace.
Before entering the technology field, Tim spent fifteen years working as a carpenter. That early experience shaped the way he approaches leadership today. Building things well requires patience, craftsmanship, and an understanding of how all the pieces fit together. Tim carries that same mindset into the systems, teams, and strategies he builds in technology.
Outside of his professional work, Tim is a devoted husband and father of six children. He is active in his church and local community and enjoys creative pursuits, including painting Disney art, playing the piano, and woodworking. A cancer survivor, Tim approaches life and leadership with resilience, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the opportunities he has to build, create, and serve.
